Although I’m currently on maternity leave I’m looking forward to and already making big plans for spring when I’ll be taking on (a few) photo sessions again. If you can look past all this snow for just a minute and think warm sunny thoughts then you really should enter yourself in todays giveaway for a FREE mini session with me this coming spring!
HOW TO WIN:
*You must be local or able to travel to me for your session*
Leave a comment on this post telling me when the last time was that you had portraits taken of you or your loved ones. How did it go? Was it anything like our family session this past summer in which all three kids were crying at one point or another and my husband had had enough after the first five minutes?
Was it fun? Was it stressful?

Just posted about ya on facebook! Think your spectacular!
Our family pictures were a complete circus. My cousin offered to help us out. The baby was crying, the older two were running around, throwing their hands in the air, standing on one foot, jumping, hunching over. The best one we got my oldest looks like a hunchback.

the last time i had a family picture done was when tori my baby was around 2or3and she is about to turn 8. It wasnt the greatest experiance my husband didnt want to be there besides triing to get our kids to be happy i think thats why we have never had another picture done. Now my inlaws are wanting a new one and the same with my parents im hoping you could help out.
not sure if my last comment was posted, but just wanted to say that I think you capture the most spectacular pictures. Posted a comment on my facebook page about you as well. In the 8 years I have been married, my family hasn’t yet had professional pictures done. It would be great to receive the mini session from you as I know that you would be able to capture my family in it’s true essence.

I have browsed your work, and been very impressed! The last time I had family pictures taken was Feb 2008. It was chaotic with the self timer, and trying to get both kids to cooperate long enough to get the pictures to work.

With my husband being an amateur photographer, it is so hard to convince him that the sometimes it is better to get someone other than Self Timer to take the pictures…especially of the two of us!
Plus, since the photoshoot would be in the Spring, it gives me extra motivation to work harder at losing weight!

It has been a while since we had family pictures done and I really want to be able to update our family pictures with more than the frowny, jammed together, family picture of almost 2 years ago…especially since the kids are young enough that they have changed so much since then!
it has been blogged!
The last photo we did was in the summer and my 5 year old was so grumpy and would not look at the photographer at all. It wouldn’t be so bad if she just didn’t smile, but she made very mad, grumpy, nasty faces. Nice.
I had my sister do a family shoot for me about a month ago. She is NOT a professional, but I figured we’d get better shots than with the timer setting on the camera. I have a 6 mo. old and a 2 year old, both were good sports despite the cold. My husband looks a little tired in them as he just got off the night shift, but all in all we had a lot of fun shooting them and got some memorable shots, whether it’s my 6 mo. old gasping for air in this southern Alberta wind (poor guy), or my two year old making funny faces.
